Unattended Access

Unattended Access helps you access remote computers even without the presence of the customer at the remote end. You can access both Windows and Mac computers. Once configured, you can view, manage, control, and troubleshoot the remote computer anytime.

Using mass deployment, you can deploy the unattended agent to multiple remote computers simultaneously. You can enable a session confirmation prompt before initiating each unattended session if needed — this notifies your remote customer whenever you try accessing their computer. You can troubleshoot effectively using features such as file transfer, screen sharing, chat, reboot, multi-monitor selection, and more.

Note

The Zoho Assist Unattended Agent is installed with system-level privileges. Even if the user logged into the remote device does not have administrative rights, technicians connecting through Zoho Assist can access the device with elevated permissions to perform administrative and troubleshooting tasks. This elevated access applies only during unattended access connections initiated through Zoho Assist and ensures effective device management.
