Yes, and it's worth enabling if you expect unregistered guests. Walk-ins can select a ticket class and check themselves in directly at the kiosk without staff assistance. You can restrict which ticket classes appear for walk-in registration to keep control over who gets in.

Event Check-In records whether an attendee showed up to your event. Session Check-In tracks attendance at individual sessions within that event. For multi-day events, Backstage records each day's session attendance separately so you get a clear breakdown of which sessions your attendees actually joined.
You can undo a check-in as long as you haven't checked the attendee out yet. Once you check an attendee out, the record is final—so catch errors early in the day.
Yes. Enable Print Badge on Check-In in your printer preferences and badges print automatically every time you scan a QR code. Turn on Silent Printing if you want badges to print without a confirmation prompt on every scan.
You can find each attendee's check-in and check-out times in their profile under the Event Check-In tab. For session-level data including attendance counts, poll totals, and Q&A activity, go to the Session Summary tab under Manage Sessions.
