Zoho Mail360 is a universal API platform that provides developers full email, contacts, and calendar capability for their applications without having to build it from scratch. Developers can connect any email, calendar, or contact book of their choice with Mail360, or host an account with Mail360 and access the APIs.
A connected account is any email address synced or hosted with Mail360. An account could have access to email, calendar, or contact APIs based on the plan chosen. Essentially, each authenticated user in Mail360 counts as one connected account.
Accounts hosted with other providers can be connected to Mail360 using IMAP or sync connectors. Alternatively, developers can also host the mailboxes with Mail360 by adding a domain of their choice.
The only difference is which APIs are included. The Free plan gives access to all APIs in sandbox. Contacts and Calendar unlocks the Calendar and Contacts APIs in production. The Full Platform unlocks all three—Email, Calendar, and Contacts—in production. Everything else (infrastructure, support, security) is identical.
