Escalation Action repetition in notification profile

Enhancements
  • Users can now enable the option to repeat the action for the escalation type in the notification profiles. This will help the user to keep repeating the configured action(s), until the configured escalation notification is not resolved. Learn More

Acknowledgement-Based Event Handling in Alarms

Enhancements
  • By acknowledging an alarm, users can pause repeated alerts and associated actions for the same state, preventing unnecessary notifications until there is a state change. This enhancement is particularly useful for scenarios where users need continuous alerts until an issue is addressed. Learn More

Profile Permissions Included

Enhancements
User Profiles are now enhanced with better visibility and control:

  • Permissions for Datapoint Definition, Datapoint Template, Email Settings, Map Settings, Report Groups, Dashboard Groups, and Map Groups are now visible in Profiles.
  • The Acknowledge/Unacknowledge Alarms action for Device, Asset, and Location modules has been added, with an option to enable or disable it as needed.

Milesight Data Stream

  • Milesight Data Stream is now available for integration with Milesight gateway devices that have built-in LoRa Network Servers. Learn More

Aesthetic improvements in charts

Enhancements
  • Threshold line color selection option included to set the desired color for the threshold line in chart widgets.
  • Area color selection option included to choose the desired color for the sections below and above the threshold line limit in Metric Line/Area/Bar charts.
  • Sorting of pie chart and donut chart included. The segment of the chart can now be arranged in ascending or descending order on the value or name (label) property by which the chart is grouped.

  • The ability to Acknowledge and Unacknowledge alarms in the application has been introduced to enable users to manage better and track alarms. The acknowledged/unacknowledged status is used in trigger conditions in escalation and resolution actions in notification profiles. Learn More

Notification Profile - Escalation Action & Resolution Action condition

  • Notification profiles now support trigger conditions that consider an alarm's acknowledgment status. Hereafter, escalation actions can also be triggered for unacknowledged alarms, while resolution actions can be tied to acknowledged alarms. Learn More

Device Notification - Condition's key used in placeholder

Enhancements
  • In the case of device notification in alarm rules, the parsing key provided in the primary condition can be included in the description by using the # place holder option. Multiple conditions will be available for selection in the case of multiple conditions. Learn More

  • The onboarding experience has been enhanced with clear guidance, providing a smoother setup process for all device types.

Enhancements in message handler & formatter

Enhancements
  • Device Level Settings: Additional settings to control the behavior of the message formatter and handler at the device level are available.

      Status: Allows control over the execution of the formatter/handler for the device.

      Continue on Failure: Allows control over data processing in subsequent processes like datapoint processing and alarm rule evaluation, even if the execution fails.

      Connection Update: Allows control over the execution of the handler function when an MQTT device connects or disconnects.

  • State Memory Support: Message hander functionality in Custom functions has been enhanced to maintain and process contextual data with this option.
  • Enhanced Debugging: Debugging has been improved with enhanced console options, available both at the Builder and the History Message Viewer.
